A Recent Jewellery Remodelling Commission

This bespoke commission beautifully demonstrates how unused jewellery can be transformed into something entirely new through our jewellery remodelling and upcycling service. Using the customer's own unworn gold, Mr Tatham crafted a beautiful rose gold band in our workshop, creating the foundation for a truly personal design.

Working closely with Mrs Tatham and Mr Tatham, the customer wanted a ring that felt individual and organic rather than perfectly uniform. Their vision was for a colourful scattering of rubies, emeralds and diamonds in a variety of shapes and sizes, creating a vibrant harlequin effect full of character and movement.

The photographs below show the ring at different stages of its creation, from the handcrafted rose gold band to the finished design. This commission perfectly illustrates the collaborative nature of bespoke jewellery design, where the customer's ideas, Mrs Tatham's guidance and eye for design, and Mr Tatham's craftsmanship come together to create a unique piece with lasting personal significance.
